Luffa is a plant from cucumber family and can be cultivated in many places around the globe. Once it reaches maturity, it becomes quite fibrous and thus perfect for a plastic- free, zero waste bathroom. The life span of one luffa sponge is the same as that of a regular one. The main difference is the fact that at the end of its life span, it goes straight to compost, thus re-entering the natural cycle of life.

BENEFITS
Easy to use– ALTlufa is used like any other sponge used for showering // bathing. Before being stored we recommend washing it multiple times in clean water. Store it in dry places, where it does not retain water and may easily dry.

NOTE
*Due to the fact that loofas are compostable and are meant to be composted, we recommend them being used with natural soap and personal care products.
**Using Tips: The loofa sponge is quite tough, so for the first time use please dip it in warm water for about 15-20 minutes to make it soft.
